Ron and Corinna Wills opened Beckley BrewHouse in July of 2006. Ron, a former telecom executive, left corporate America to open a cool, neighborhood hangout in his beloved Oak Cliff. A long-time resident of Kessler Park, Ron opted to renovate an abandoned, former crack house and transformed it into a neighborhood destination. Part coffee house, restaurant and neighborhood bar, Beckley BrewHouse is unpretentious, hip and wired.

Beckley BrewHouse attracts a lively and eclectic crowd, a neighborhood ‘blend’ reflective of Oak Cliff itself. The cozy interior is comfortable and stylish (Corinna’s influence), and un-obtrusive high-tech features abound (thanks to Ron). Beckley BrewHouse’s tech amenities include free WiFi, plenty of power outlets, flat panel plasma TV’s, and high quality audio system.

For those not technically inclined – there’s a good chance you could pick up a hard-core game of Connect 4. Or just relax in a leather club chair near the fireplace or on the front porch swing. And soon you will be able to bring your pooch! Beckley BrewHouse has applied for a ‘pet permit’, so don’t be surprised if you see Elvis, Priscilla and Baby lounging on the front porch. Their parents are the owners so the Beckley BrewHouse is their second home!

Named one of the top 10 bars in Dallas by Citysearch.com, Beckley BrewHouse has become a popular destination for ‘happy hour’ during the week, and a hot bar scene on the weekends. Try manager Ronda’s cherry limeade, and be sure to sample the house specialty Espresso Martini or Lattetini if you need an evening caffeine boost. Open and serving until 2am on weekends – you may need that java rush to keep you going till close!

Beckley BrewHouse also serves gourmet coffee and teas. For lunch, try the Beckley blue cheeseburger with a side of sweet potato fries, or the California Panini. The menu is vegetarian friendly thanks to Corinna’s healthy eating habits.
